Experience the power of community!

The Race for Peace isn't just a run—it's a rallying cry for peace and justice in the vibrant neighborhoods of Little Village, Pilsen and surrounding communities of Chicago.

Organized by the passionate members of the Little Village Rotary Club, our event brings together a diverse tapestry of local community members, business owners, educators, and leaders united in service, nonviolence, and the pursuit of goodwill and peace. While the Race for Peace has already made significant strides, we recognize that our journey is far from over, and that's where you come in.

We're calling on individuals like you to join us as volunteers.

Each volunteer plays a vital role in the success of our cause. Guided by the esteemed Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA), our volunteer plan offers a variety of opportunities tailored to match your skills and interests:

  • Guide runners as course marshals

  • Ensure a smooth start as starting area monitors

  • Keep participants hydrated with our water supply team

  • Provide direction and encouragement as race guides

  • Help keep our route pristine with the cleanup crew

  • Manage the hustle and bustle at the finish area

  • Keep our finish line fueled with hydration and snacks

  • Assist with check-ins and race packet distribution

That's just the beginning! With roles suited for every passion and talent, there's a place for everyone to make a difference. Join us in spreading peace, fostering community, and creating lasting change—one volunteer at a time. Together, let's pave the way for a brighter, more harmonious future for all.
